  1. Nina, great job, as always. That detective in Baltimore is LAZY. That’s it. That’s what detectives do, the INCESTIGATE. He’s doing nothing . My heart goes out to Jody’s family.

    1. It sounds like that’s the problem with all of these cold cases: sheer, utter laziness, an inexplicable reluctance of the men and women to actually carry out their JOBS in the search for truth. I wonder how many cold cases would be solved today if it hadn’t been for neglectful investigators?

  2. Could it be possible that the guy that shot and stole from Jody was a drug dealer and possibly met up with her to sell her drugs? I’m not saying Jody was a heavy drug user, but I myself have smoked before to help with stress and anxiety.

    1. it’s certainly a possibility. We need the Baltimore County Police to dig in to this case again, the video of the man in the car should be sent out for analysis.

  3. Hello – I’m coming along a little late, but I’m listening to this episode today on Spotify, and I don’t know what could be done to rectify this, but this is a perfect example of the audio being very inconsistent. Particularly during the phone interview with Jody’s sister, the volume will drop out almost entirely and then return to a normal level; whether listening in the car, on headphones, or at one’s desk – it becomes a lot of effort to manually adjust the volume accordingly. I’ve seen reviews indicating that others share this grievance, while they may choose to express it in their own colorful way. I love Already Gone, and only approach this to be constructive.

    1. Hi Charlotte – I agree with you, the audio is uneven. I’ll see if I can level it out.

      I appreciate the feedback.
