Miller admitted in July 1979 to killing four women in East Lansing between Jan. 1, 1977 and Aug. 14, 1978. He was arrested on Aug. 16, 1978 after he sexually assaulted 14-year-old Lisa and attempted to kill her and her brother Randy, who was 13 at the time.
