Michigan and great lakes crime
Really enjoy the show and the look at lesser known cases. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Already Gone
Nina Innsted does such of thorough job of researching these cases. I appreciate her true compassion and non judgmental approach to narration. Nina is respectful of the victims and their families.
Love!
Love this podcast! Stories are short which is so much better than some that ramble forever. Her voice is very soothing!
Solid show however...
The host? The way she asks a question to elaborate on things? It gets really grating after a while and is annoying to listen to.
Grows on you
I like the factual style of this podcast. It isn’t annoying people randomly chatting with each other it’s case information and in depth. I appreciate the Michigan theme as well, I haven’t heard of most of these cases. The only thing that could make this better is if you had a link to a web page with more in depth case information for each case.
Love the Michigan and tri state history!
It’s so interesting to hear stories a from my home state and areas I know. Makes the stories more visual for me. Most I have not heard. I was born and raised until early HS in SW Michigan. Berrien and VanBuren counties. I’ve lived in Northern Indiana (close yet far “for many years now but still consider a Michigander with my Michigan roots. Go Blue! lol
Wonderful true crime podcast
I love this podcast and the way Nina tells the story of these crimes. I like how respectful she is of the victims and takes the time to share a bit about them. She is a wonderful storyteller and also has a great “radio voice” that is very enjoyable and soothing to hear. Thanks for sharing these stories!

Did you change the music?
Lean but not mean
Concise but detailed, fair and empathetic presentations, clearly neither for shock value nor lighthearted entertainment. This is a victim-centered podcast written and presented by a grown-up. No jokes or self-indulgent banter here, but plenty of atmosphere and a host who takes her job but not herself seriously. Please keep doing what you are doing, Nina.
One of the Best
One of the best true crime podcast. Nina does a wonderful job, very respectful and informative.
Respectful and Empathetic
Those are just a few of the adjectives I use to describe Nina and her Already Gone podcast. She chooses lesser known cases, does the research and tells it in that underground radio voice. If she was your neighbor you would love her and the family and hope they never move. Plus you might get treated to a great mixed drink! Keep up the great work Nina, you give the gone and forgotten a voice!
Great podcast!
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. There’s a lot out there that is okay and even more that is not very good. This one is excellent!! I highly recommend it.
The missing West Brothers
Can you look into this case? I feel like it’s failing to get any media attention. It’s a case that has many different angles. “The small community of California City, a desert town in Kern County, has been haunted for over a month by the disappearance of two young residents, Orrin and Orson West. The young boys went missing shortly before Christmas and, in the weeks since, police have uncovered little by way of clues.”
The best to ever do it
With a wonderfully soothing voice and mesmerizing storytelling ability, Nina has conquered this genre. The only thing more I could ask for would be weekly podcasts. The twice a month segments, though a treat to look forward to, just isn’t enough to hold one over - especially since I haven’t been able to find anyone else with Nina’s storytelling skills and vocal stylings to supplement her. This is truly one of the best podcasts in the true crime game.
Great podcast
I love this podcast! Have been listening for something now and I look forward to the new episodes. I also think the host is awesome, she’s someone I would love hanging out with and her quarantini drinks posted on Instagram make me thirsty!
A favorite!
This podcast is so professional, well researched and respectful to the victims! I can learn about cases without needless chit chat and “humorous” banter. Thank you, Nina. Well done!
Fantastic
The podcast is fantastic, Nina is fantastic, everything about it is fantastic.
Love the show!
Just found your podcast! Amazing job! Binging while I’m at work! Thank you!
I like it well enough to overlook some annoying things
I find it well researched and like that it’s straight facts with no filler. Nina’s voice can be soothing or boring depending on my mood. And it’s probably just me but I cannot stand the way she says the “small” hours of the morning. It drives me nuts but I realize that’s a silly thing to complain about. It definitely won’t stop me from listening.
Love this podcast
I love true crime podcasts and MI! I stumbled upon this podcast weeks after I moved to MI and have learned so much. Nina tells the best stories and I appreciate the way she is respectful to victims.
