One of the best
Nina has a soothing voice and tells stories like no other! Absolutely recommend.
Top Notch
Nina gets to the point, is a great storyteller and has a great voice for reporting.
Big Fan
I’ve listened to your podcast for awhile now. I’ve read through the negative reviews and most of them read like one angry reviewer with a bunch of fake accounts and an agenda. Don’t pay them any mind. You are a great host, with great content, and a melodic voice. Keep putting out great content. I especially like the stories from my home state that’s shaped like a mitten with a hat.
Great Podcast!
I just discovered this podcast today, after reading an article on the sad case of Gail Webster - and then, of course, jumping into a research rabbit hole. This excellent podcast covers many Michigan crime cases that I remember from growing up in Royal Oak - including the OCCK, when I was the same age as Jill Robinson, and deeply affected by her death in a couple traumatic ways. That whole period left an indelible mark on the lives of us all, and those four young faces are forever deeply etched on my mind. Thank you for your work in keeping all of the cases you cover alive. As an aside, your voice is very calm and soothing, which provides a good buffer when hearing such hard stuff.
Religious
Too much emphasis on mainstream religion. If I wanted to hear about people in cults, I’d listen to a cult podcast. You shouldn’t put so much emphasis on these terrible parents brainwashing their children from birth, it’s gross
Background humming sound affects
I love All Ready Gone podcast and have been listening for years but the story being told with the background humming sound affects makes me feel sick while driving. I have tried several attempts to listen to several stories and each one made me feel sick. Is there anyway to listen to your great stories without this under tone of vibrations that are added for special affects? Sorry to complain.
Wonderful and respectful telling
Nina does a wonderful job telling the stories of these people in a respectful way. I have listened to this podcast everyday since I have found it. Wonderful research and great telling.
Already Gone
Simply outstanding
So well done with care for the victim.
She does such a great job in research and building a photograph and story line that you can watch the movie in your head while listening. I love the care shown for the victims and how this is a recount of facts not an opinion from one person. I appreciate your hard work and have been binging all the episodes! Keep up the great work.
Great stories
I love the stories that Nina tells. She genuinely cares about victims. Please get rid of the weird humming sound in the background. It’s so horrible.
Love love love love this
Just started listening and I am obsessed. Binge worthy and eye opening. I am local and vividly remember the Justin Mello murder. I truly enjoy this focus on Michigan based cases.
Missing episodes?
Awesome episodes! This podcast is well researched and written and Nina’s voice is just perfect for podcasting. Where are episodes 1-65?
So relaxing!
Nina, your voice… so relaxing! I love hearing you tell the cases from my home state (MI) AND how even when you’re so upset, that you swear, you still sound like the most relaxed person in the world! I don’t know how you research all this chaos and still stay so calm… nothing but respect!
told with heartfelt compassion
very very very good, told with compassion.
So good!
Simple, to the point, thoughtful, and I just love her voice. Thanks for focusing on the Mitten, too:)
Take a minute to learn how to pronounce
It's hard to have faith in the research of the case if the host can't be bothered with learning how to pronounce Okanogan. I would think it would go without saying but I guess not. Hot tip, if it's a word you've never seen before or never spoken before, look it up, ask a friend, call someone at the county. Okanogan = Oh-can-nog-gun
Goldman family murders
I was working the night shift at Harborview ER the night these dreadful murders took place. They have always haunted me. Thank you for the podcast. [Okanagan, pronounced: oak an noggin]
Intro and background music
I enjoy the stories, good detail and easy to follow. However, I always skip the intro because I don’t like it. Keep up the good work. I’m going to be caught up soon!
Great, true crime podcast
Love Nina’s voice and the way she tells a story. I’ve listened to every episode and new ones are top, in my weekly rotation. Thanks Nina!
Not for sissies
Definitely a great podcast but some of the cases are heartbreaking. Fortunately, the host does her research and tells these victim’s stories with respect.
Michigan!
So many stories that hit close to home! Thanks for bringing them to attention. Well done
Great podcast
Love this podcast, lots of background info and nice voice to hear🤘🏼
Love the pod
Love the pod. Love the hosts voice. But if cuyahoga falls and Akron come up In any future episodes, it’s pronounced “Ky-a-hoga” 😉
