Already Gone
5 Stars!!! Great Podcast. Interesting and informative. Doesn’t get any better than Already Gone!!!
Nina shows true compassion!
Already Gone is a great platform for these cases. After listening to one, I reached out to Nina to give her some additional information. She was welcoming, caring, and passed the information onto the proper people. Her voice has a tenderness for the stories she tells. Highly recommend this podcast to anyone. Thank you for sharing these stories, Nina.
I am so glad I found this podcast!!
It is well written & narrated! Nina covers all the bases, & if there is a question left unanswered, she usually explains why. Thank you, keep up the great work!
I like this podcast but...
I like this podcast. It is well-research and entertaining. But I am not sure if I can continue to listen because the host has a somewhat annoying whispery, breathy voice. It comes off a bit pretentious and put-on. Would be great if she just spoke in her normal voice and didn't whisper through the podcast.
That voice!
I could listen to her all day.
I love this podcast...
I actually look forward to hearing each episode. Always a good story that is well researched, with no fillers. Nina brings all the cast of characters to life, with a very soothing voice. Straightforward, no useless chatter or comedy. Very well done! Thank you!
Great job!
Makes me nervous to be a Michigander!
Top tier
I subscribe to about 10-11 true crime podcasts and this is top 5. Excellent delivery always on topic. Others I’ve tried like Small Town Murders and Unfound the podcasters like to hear themselves talk.
Fantastic
I just found this podcast and have been binge listening ever since. The stories are well researched, fantastically crafted with emphasis on the victims and their lives. I recommend anyone interested in true crime to check this podcast out they will not regret it.
Love.
Love the true crime focus in Michigan! Where I have lived my whole life.love the awesome attention to detail, detailed research even with locations, and her compassion for the victims and people still missing. Thank you for this podcast !
Putting human faces to the stories she tells
I like how this podcast is able to humanize the victims, families and the police officers related to these cases. A lot of podcasts claim to do that, but it’s rarely with as much success as this podcast. I truly appreciate that.
Pretty Good
I like the stories and the narrators voice, however, I would give this a full five stars if the narrator didn’t seem to make an effort to sound robotic. Her normal non-robotic tone is nice and sort of soothing. This isn’t meant as an insult to the narrator; her normal voice when she uses it is fantastic for this podcast. Also, the sound quality could be more consistent. Sometimes clear and then a few minutes later the narrator will sound muffled.
Amazing!
I can’t say enough good about this podcast! Each episode is delivered in such a respectful manner whilst providing the necessary details to understand the details of the case. Very easy listen; very easy to lose track of time as you get into each case! Keep up the amazing work! -Heather Wright (Nature vs Narcissism & Status Pending Podcasts)
Perfect
Love everything about this show!
Quite enjoyable
Having been introduced to this podcast by a friend, I listened to a few episodes and was hooked. I highly recommend that anyone who is interested in true crime give it a listen.
Excellent and insightful
Most excellent podcast. Factual, straightforward, and interesting. Keep up the great work!
Sad, but True
Sad that there are so many missing.
One of my favorites
I love the voice and the stories. I’m from Northern Indiana and am familiar with many of the locations. I am exciting for the podcast to start up again. Keep up the great work!
Michigan murders
This is a great true crime podcast. Living in MI I can imagine where it has all happened. This is the first time I’ve heard of many of the crimes...even the ones that happened in surrounding communities from me. Highly recommend for any true crime enthusiast.
Fantastic!
This is my new favorite podcast! Nina is one of the best storytellers around. Her stories are thoroughly researched and she speaks reverently of the victims and their families. I have listened to a lot of true crime podcasts and many times I hear the same stories repeated. Not the case with Already Gone...she generally selects less familiar but still interesting cases. Keep up the great work, Nina!
Nina nails interviews
I wasn’t sure about another scripted podcast, but the personal interviews that Nina conducts are so good. 🏆 it is important to get further details which may assist in solving these horrific crimes - other podcasts don’t go this far. She asks the right questions and she is sincere in her sympathy with family and friends. I am very impressed with this format. I wish the episodes were a little longer. ~Lovah Murdah
Already hooked
Nina's voice and the deliberate, sympathetic relating of the stories are addicting. I've really come to love single host podcasts where they tell the stories with few sidebars and opinions. Although some of the best moments are when she goes off script a bit. I love that she supports other women pod casters and is helping to try and find other missing persons. you can tell this is not only a passion project but that she truly cares about the victims and helping to spread the word. I like that it is focused in the great lakes area as it's not really known to me. Great podcast.
Wonderful podcast.
You can tell that some thought and plenty of work has gone into this podcast. Hope it will be around for awhile.
Great Voice Great PodCast!!
I love this pod cast!! The host’s voice reminds me of Michelle Parise of Alone: A Love Story, and it’s great!!!!! Very easy to follow along and not drone-y at all!!!!
