Hooked on Already Gone!
I was recommended true crime podcasts by a friend and Already Gone showed up in my search - I was instantly hooked especially since I am a native Michigander! Nina’s voice is so soothing and the content is very captivating you can hear her passion for these cases. Love the show!! Highly recommend!! Jennifer St Clair Shores, MI
THE BEST ONE OUT THERE
I absolutely love this podcast. Nina does an excellent job with her delivery. She is articulate and concise. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Already Gone
I am an avid, well rather obsessed, true crime fan. I was listening to true crime on podcasts back when there were less than twenty. I found Already Gone at point where I had finished another one that was local to me and was instantly hooked. I’ll admit to some binging, lol. I love Nina’s delivery and voice. The cases are not local to me but so well reported that I enjoy each episode. I have gone on a small thank you campaign for my favorite top ten podcasts in this genre. I know making each episode is time consuming, difficult and sometimes gruesome work which makes me respect you for what you do. Please accept a very heartfelt thank you and a bit of inspiration to continue the good work. Thank you, Rob in N.H.
Very interesting and well spoken.
I just started listening to your podcast. I like how well you tell the topic. Looking foward to listening to all of them.
5 stars
Such great story telling with compassion for the victims.
Already Gone is Great
I love the sound of Nina’s voice! All these podcasts are serious and interesting. She involves as many of the victims friends or family as she can. She helps them give any information that might help solve these cold cases! Thank you for your hard efforts!
Hooked!
I’m surprised people complain about the dumbest things. These are stories about missing and murdered kids, how would you like her to sound? Happy and cheerful? I think her voice is stoic and soothing and I really enjoy her story telling. It keeps me interested all the way through.
Solemn
This is the most solemn podcast I have ever listened to.
Good podcast
Just hollow sounding.
Good podcast, poor sound quality
Girl you’ve got yourself a good podcast. You just need a better recording space. Please.
Strange sound quality.
Great content but why does it sound like Nina records from under her comforter in bed?
Super interesting and well researched
I stumbled upon this podcast and have listened to all of it now. Nina researches every case and you can tell she does her due diligence. She withholds conjecture unless she expressly states she is adding one, so you’re hearing just facts. I can’t wait for more and now am a patreon supporter. Thank you for your podcast!
A must-have on your podcast list
Nina is a masterful storyteller. The words she chooses and brings together, combined with her soothing, compassionate voice, wrap the listener in a cocoon of curiosity as she takes the listener to often less known (at least for me) missing persons cases, murders and other crimes in the Michigan and Great Lakes region. She really cares about the victims and wants justice for them and their loved ones. Just like you will after you listen to her podcast. Be safe.
Stop the Vox mode
When the sound cuts out when you break in speaking even momentarily, it is annoying. This annoying thing often happens mid-sentence. What!? Why would you want that? It’s jarring and takes away from the beautiful smoothness of your voice.
The care & concern this podcast gives to each story is amazing!!
This podcast & narrator go above and beyond in every way possible telling each missing persons story - A must listen!!
Addicted
I discovered this show a few months ago and sadly I’ve binged my way through every episode! Love Nina’s compassion, writing style and her voice. One of my absolute fave podcasts!
Excellent
Great research and presentation, this is such a worthwhile true crime podcast.
Great podcast!
This is one of my favorite true crime podcasts. I think her voice and delivery are perfect for the subject matter, and that she’s a natural story teller. It’s interesting to hear these sad tales from her neck of the woods.
Good quality, weird voice
I think this is a high quality podcast with interesting and underexposed cases. However, the host has the strangest voice and inflections. It honestly sounds like Siri is hosting the podcast. Very clinical and robotic sounding. I’m sure many will like it, but it’s not my favorite delivery style. I still listen because it is great content.
Great Stuff
Wow! So glad I found this podcast. Your episodes are a little short, but you are very thorough and you tell great stories that not many people have heard of. (Like the Burger store murders). Somehow your voice is soothing yet all the more terrifying. I listen to this podcast at night, so it is the stuff of my dreams and my nightmares. Plus, these cases are rich in content, and you can tell they hold a special place in Nina’s heart. Love love love your stuff, keep up the great work!
Concise. Interesting. Well done.
Nina is full of knowledge, is well spoken and has a lovely voice. Her delivery is beautiful and her choices of subjects interesting.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PODCAST
I'm really loving this podcast! I'm from Michigan and I so rarely hear about many cases from my area on the other podcasts that I listen to. I really like that most of the episodes are on the shorter side. I can listen to an entire episode on the way to where ever I'm going and not have to stop in the middle of an episode.
Very Interesting!
Well done! Thank you
Nina is amazing!
I love love love this podcast. Nina’s voice is so soothing. She does her research and she is so respecting of the victims and the families. She is so caring of everyone involved and she truly does want to find the truth behind what happened to each and every victim. I just discovered Already Gone. It is all I listen to at work. I have a lot of catching up to do. I also just recently started supporting Nina on Patreon, and is the one and only pod I follow. Thank you Nina. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
